Join author Sarah Prager for a special Pride Week Storytime celebrating her children’s book Kind Like Marsha: Learning from LGBTQ+ Leaders! This beautifully illustrated nonfiction picture book introduces young readers to 14 inspiring LGBTQIA+ figures from history — from Marsha P. Johnson to Leonardo da Vinci to Frida Kahlo — each paired with a positive trait like kindness, courage, or creativity.
Through joyful storytelling and inclusive history, children will be encouraged to be proud of who they are, celebrate differences, and learn from the lives of trailblazing LGBTQIA+ leaders. Perfect for families and children ages 4 and up.
Books will be provided by Collected Works Bookstore for purchase and signing.
