Solar Maximum

Our sun has reached the Solar Maximum. Join the Santa Fe Stargazers astronomy group to find out more about what this is, why it happens, how it effects the earth, and use equipment to try and see solar flares and sunspots. After a brief talk, the program will move outside, so bring or wear sunscreen and sun protection!

The Santa Fe Stargazers are a local astronomy club that meets regularly to observe the night sky, spread enthusiasm for astronomy to the community, and advocate for dark skies to enhance the appreciation of the heavens.
