COMMUNITY ART SHOW

 

Awards Presentation

A special awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at 5PM at the Main Library Art Gallery. Winners and Honorable Mentions will be announced and all community art will be on display in the exhibition space. Open to the public – so bring your friends and family and meet your community artists!

 

 

2024 SANTA FE READS

COMMUNITY ART SHOW & CONTEST

 

Submit your artwork, in any visual media and any size, inspired by our reading selections this year. Artwork can be dropped off at any  Santa Fe Public Library branches during the months of March, April and May, 2024. All submissions are due by May 4th, 2024. Maximum of two entries per participant; a form for each entry is required.

This year’s juries will select prize winning work that best reflect the themes from 2024 Santa Fe Reads’s selected works. Themes can include, but are not limited to:  The Hero’s Journey, Finding One’s Power, Female Strength and Greek Mythology.

 

Prizes will be given out to winners in the following age categories:

  • Toddler 0-4
  • Children 5-8
  • Youth 9-12
  • Teens 3-17
  • Adult 18+

 

All received entries will be exhibited at the Main branch Santa Fe Public Library gallery spaces* now until June 2024. Please note that the entry form asks for your permission to allow us to feature your submission to promote the Santa Fe Reads program. 

 

* Work must be appropriate for a public setting for all ages.
