SANTA FE – Santa Fe non-profit, Littleglobe, Inc, will go live with its latest episode of Littleglobe TV “You Are Here.” This episode features short videos, skits, memes, animations, and live hosting by Santa Fe residents. First-time filmmakers, these collaborating resident video producers have been working with Littleglobe and the Santa Fe Public Libraries since Spring 2022 through the pilot Neighborhood Historians program (*now rebranded as the Community Historians program which will start its second cohort January 2023). These residents, bridging ages and heritages, worked together to learn the skills to create their own videos and stories, sharing their lives, experiences, hopes and dreams of Santa Fe.

This episode will feature a wide range of stories including a portrait of a Santa Fe Trails bus driver, a family’s story of coming to Santa Fe from Vietnam during the Boat People crisis, a farewell to one of Santa Fe’s most beloved taquerias, a coming out story from a Santa Fean who grew up in a traditional Catholic family, and wide array of skits and stories from across this town during this time.

About Littleglobe TV

This is Littleglobe’s online TV-style program created during the COVID-19 crisis. It is a patchwork, potluck collection of DIY, crowd-sourced, low-budget, community-generated stories, skits, songs, poems, news reports and random acts of art. Littleglobe’s multigenerational filmmaking team draws from every corner of Santa Fe to celebrate our creativity, resilience, and humor in the face of adversity. The resulting videos, songs, stories, jokes, and other elements are shared live at the Southside Library’s Community Room, as well as remotely via Facebook and YouTube Live in a 45-minute community-created show.

Funding and support for this program and event comes from National Endowment for the Arts ArtWorks program, New Mexico Humanities Council, Santa Fe Arts & Culture Department, Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library, Manitos Community Memory Project, Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area, and NewMexicoWomen.org.

Littleglobe believes that our community thrives when all members are seen and heard.
