The Most Important Animal in New Mexico: Prairie Dogs

Come learn about prairie dogs in New Mexico; why they’re a keystone species which all New Mexican wildlife relies upon, why they’re declining in the wild and why they’re only surviving in cities or roadways, and most importantly, what we can and must do to protect them!

This talk includes a free 16 page color booklet about New Mexican prairie dogs for participants.

This presentation is intended for adults and older youth, sponsored by New Mexico Sustainably Green, designed to bring environmental educational information to New Mexicans.

Prairie Dog Pals will be present for this event, along with their pet prairie dogs for all to meet! Prairie Dog Pals will be available to provide more information and to answer any attendees questions about New Mexico's prairie dogs.
