Poetic Response to War & Peace 

Although wars happen across the globe, ramifications are felt on a deep level. We mourn, feel helpless, and grapple with issues related to loss and human existence. This is when poetry becomes a source of comfort. Join Poet Laureate ambassador Janna Lopez for a presentation of poems across a spectrum of times of war & peace, a lively discussion about how poetry has been present for reflection and documentation, and a chance to write in real time through gentle guidance.

 

All poetry skill levels and knowledge welcome, in the name of making poetry more accessible and palatable.
