POETRY POLLINATORS WORKSHOP at the Santa Fe River at Alameda and Escondido
with Award-winning, Santa Fe Poet Laureate Oz Leshem
What’s in a Title?
How do titles evoke theme, story, and help to shape the physical body of a poem?
In this workshop we will practice exploring and reading all types of titles and examine them for thematic resonance, break down specific phrasing, and attempt to discuss why each title is a unique part of a poem. We will discuss form and how titles play into rhyme schemes, or become the integrating first line to the poem.
All are welcome to this free Poetry workshop. Please bring your writing tools and a chair.
In the case of rain, meet at the Main Library
145 Washington Ave / 87501
