POETRY POLLINATORS WORKSHOP at the Santa Fe River at Alameda and Escondido

with Award-winning Poet Pamela Uschuk

JUST BREATHE

A GENERATIVE POETRY WORKSHOP RESPONDING TO AND BEYOND THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC

The 2020-2022 pandemic changed the way we acted and thought about ourselves as a nation and as humans. Over a million of our citizens died; disproportionally people of color died. Poets responded to and are still responding to this, trying to understand how to heal from the pandemic’s emotional, psychic, economic and social toll on humans. As we move beyond Covid 19, how are we healing? Join American Book Award-winning poet, Pamela Uschuk to explore and write poems of healing from the pandemic. Pamela will provide model poems and poetry writing prompts.

All are welcome to this free Poetry workshop. Please bring your writing tools and a chair.

In the case of rain, meet at the Main Library
