Renowned author Denise Chávez, of Las Cruces, hosts a bilingual, intergenerational reading, storytelling and craft session for families based on Rudolfo Anaya's popular children's book, Owl in a Straw Hat/ El Tecolote del Sombrero de Paja.

This is an all ages event and it is free admission.  No Festival ticket required.
