Craftivists Co-create a Rose Garden as a rEVOLutionary Gift for Santa Fe Everything’s coming up roses in Santa Fe!

Craftivists are co-creating a handmade rose garden as a rEVOLutionary gift for The City Different. The craftivists, who are from Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, and Taos, will create this garden of yarns from threads of crochet and knit. It will be installed at the Santa Fe Public Library to usher in the festive season. The yarn balm is innovated by Stacey Rozen, a craftivist and yarn bomber visiting New Mexico from South Africa. Through the artistry of craft, the collab is amplifying a call for rEVOLutionary love, a balm of heartistry for us all.

The floral beauty is dedicated to Margarita Valdez-Stehle, a librarian and gardener whose green thumb nurtured a bed of roses adjacent to the main entrance for many years.
