“Celebration of the Book”
Exhibition at Santa Fe Public Library
All three City of Santa Fe Public Libraries are hosting an exhibit of contemporary book art from Monday, October 2, through Saturday, October 28, 2023. The “Celebration of the Book” will be held in conjunction with “National Book Month.” All of the artists represented in the exhibit are members of the Santa Fe Book Arts Group or Libros New Mexico Book Arts Guild. They use a wide range of materials, designs, and techniques to create original works of sculptural, two-dimensional, or multi-dimensional book art.
You can view the exhibits during the libraries’ usual open hours, which are Monday, 10 am to 6 pm; Tuesday through Thursday, 10 am to 8 pm; and Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm. Attendance is free for both the exhibits and the receptions, which are listed below.
The Main Library is at 145 Washington Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501. The public is invited to a reception on Thursday, October 5, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
