Event Details
Storytelling, in the form of personal narratives, cuentos, and legends, has been an integral part of New Mexico history and culture for centuries. In Part I of this limited storytelling series, participants will have the chance to continue the long tradition of sharing stories with others, including personal narratives, legends, and lore.
Activities for Part I include: brainstorming story ideas, group discussions, a brief look at New Mexico storytelling history, and story outlining.
Ages 17 and over. Registration is required.
Gino Brazil is a native New Mexican educator, storyteller, and writer. His passions include the Spanish language, history, caricature, and traditional adobe construction.
