Event Details

We need YOU to help decide the 2022 winners of the Kids' Favorites Book Awards! Come curl up with our stash of just-published picture books, sip hot cocoa, and give us a simple thumbs up or thumbs down for each book you read.

We have over 600 picture book nominations and we need your help to read them and rate them. Pajamas, blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals are all encouraged! We will provide the books, cocoa, and popcorn. Your votes will help determine this year's winners of the Kids' Favorites Book Awards from the Children's Book Council. 

This is a drop-in family event. Families are encouraged to come in and choose books from the nomination carts, read aloud together, and cast their votes.
