Southwest Santa Fe Advocates is hosting the third annual Southside Community Day from 2-5 pm Sept. 28 and combining the community celebration with Santa Fe's annual Convivio Southside!

This year's Convivio Southside Community Day is a collaboration with Southwest Santa Fe Advocates, Boys & Girls Club, Earth Care, Southside Library and the Santa Fe Teen Center.

Driven by a community council and neighborhood grass roots partners, Convivio Southside has been a story-based neighborhood gathering created by Santa Fe Southside residents to celebrate, share a space across cultures and languages, and to connect with neighborhood assets and resources.

This year's event will be held on the Teen Center campus and the Southside Library grounds.

There will be a Santa Fe Fire Department Soak Down, Youth Works mural, SFPD Bearcat, Farmer's Market Institute, community organizations, and service providers, city parks and open spaces, hoop dancers, Ballet Folklorico, Children's Museum van, vintage cars, vaccine clinic, and more.
