Free filing of Federal and State Income Taxes

Tax Help New Mexico is a free service for people whose income is $65,000 or less, or those who are 65 or older.

 DATES, DAYS, and LOCATION of SERVICE

February 5 – April 15

Mondays & Tuesdays, 10:00am-2:00pm, Wednesdays, 12:00pm-4:00pm

Main Library, 145 Washington Ave, Santa Fe (downtown)

Tax filing assistance is by appointment only. This tax season, taxpayers may choose to either call-in for assistance with scheduling or use the online scheduling tool found at https://uwncnm.org/tax-help-new-mexico/

The official start date of the Tax Help New Mexico tax season is Monday, February 5, 2024.

We encourage those interested in scheduling an appointment to book early, as spots fill up quickly. Our volunteers will work with each individual to ensure they receive the necessary support and guidance needed to complete the tax filing process accurately and efficiently.
